Course Leader: Stuart Morrison MAVS MFA (RCSSD) PGCE FVCM(TD)(Hons) FVCM(Hons) LLCM(TD) LGSM ALCM ALAM

This course is designed to train you to become a specialist teacher of Speech and Drama. The course teaches through introducing you to methods which are used for teaching this subject in the 21st Century. The course gives you the skills which are needed for this subject in the modern world and shouldn’t be confused with elocution type courses of the past.

A high standard of speech performance is, of course, still a requirement for this qualification. To achieve this you will study practical performance skills, the theory of speech and drama and the skills which are needed to teach. To complete this course, you will have a weekly one-hour tutorial with Stuart Morrison. Stuart will lead you through all the practical and theoretical knowledge which you will need to undertake the teaching qualification. The one-hour tutorial can be taken either online, in person or by a blend of both.
